What it is
1 to 10 and Then is a conversation game for couples, friends, and families. Someone draws a card. Everyone scores it privately from 1 to 10. Then the scores come out at the same time. Where the numbers disagree, that gap is the conversation.
Other decks give you a question. This one gives you a number, a gap, and something to say next. It ships as a free-to-start phone app in seven languages, and as printed card decks when stock is available.
Where it came from
Gossip and catching up were not enough. In a moment of haste, the founder wrote a question down and asked for only a number from 1 to 10. The room went quiet. A different kind of conversation started.
It also turned out people had a number for how they saw each other on the same idea. Scores for yourself and scores for others, shared at once, became the game.
